FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

Through the practice of yoga, you will find strength, flexibility an inner peace. Meditation will guide you towards clarity, presence and mindfulness, counselling services to provide support, and guidance on your path to emotional wellbeing. and Somatic breathwork and mindfulness, to release tension and restore balance. Together these modalities form a tapestry of wellness, weaving together ancient wisdom and modern practices to support you in your quest for holistic well-being.

Chanelle serves as the Founder, Director, Registered Counsellor of Mindful Alignment practice, an establishment she initiated in December 2023. Presently, Chanelle holds the position of a level 1 Member with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), a national progressive professional peak association that sets ethical principles, guiding the behaviour of counsellors and psychotherapists.

Chanelle has been practicing yoga for many years. Registered in early 2021 as a professional yoga teacher, starting her teaching at a local wellness studio Chanelle is committed to the continuous enhancement of her knowledge and qualifications, constantly seeking to increase her knowledge and abilities of the latest recognised and accredited developments in her field. Having a holistic approach to client support, Chanelle is passionate about helping people achieve their goals. Her contagious and positive outlook on life serves as a beacon of hope for those she supports. Chanelle demonstrates her commitment to meeting the individual needs of each person under her care she utilises her diverse background in yoga and meditation, disability support, her experience teaching mental health in education, to deliver a diverse approach.

Chanelle has been on her Yoga journey for many years, since early 2021 as a registered Yoga Teacher. Starting her teaching with a lovely local wellness studio, then venturing out into her own private teachings.

Her contagious positive outlook on life serves as a beacon of hope for those she supports. Chanelle demonstrates her commitment to meeting the individual needs of each person under her care by utilising her diverse background in yoga and meditation, disability support, her experience teaching mental health and education, and her counselling skills to deliver a diverse approach.

Walk & Talk- Therapy in Nature

Somatic Yoga Therapy

This therapeutic practice encourages individuals to connect deeply with their bodies, fostering mindfulness and relaxation. In our sessions, you will embark on a profound exploration of self-awareness, tapping into the innate intelligence of your body to release tension, process emotions and foster deep healing through the mindful integration of yoga postures, breathwork, and somatic techniques. You will learn to listen to your body's wisdom, uncover hidden sources of stress, and nurture a profound sense of self compassion an empowerment.

Chanelle is a certified yoga teacher with a passion for healing the mind and body through mindfulness and movement. Her practice spans various styles including hatha, vinyasa, somatic, yin, restorative and meditation.

Counselling 

Chanelle uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in her practice. These consist of, but are not limited to, person-centred therapy, solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy techniques. She is committed to supporting people in their pursuit of personal growth and well-being, and you can anticipate a non-judgmental and compassionate environment where you can explore your issues and work towards meaningful solutions.
